Trustees Meeting April 2016

The insurance policy is in hand and yes, the mininums to fly a particular aircraft rests solely upon the shoulders of our chief flight instructor.  We’ve always had a very strong and seasoned CFI resource and have always flown and and given endorsements with safety and competency as a first priority.  Now our insurance policy reflects that.  The wording is pretty simple:

This policy is COMPLETED as follows:  It is a a condition of this insurance that when in flight, the aircraft will be operated only by pilot (s) specified below.

AS RESPECTS N6083J, N95640, N318G ANY PILOT AS APPROVED BY THE NAMED INSURED’S CHIEF FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR.

Thanks to Brian for installing the high bay LED light panels in the hangar.  HUGE difference from previous lighting scheme.

We will be having our annual Spring hangar clean-up on May 7th and 9:00 am with an open house to follow with a picnic.  Aside from the usual items, the one voting item is whether we rebuild the club house or upgrade the interior of the 182.  Both need done, but we are looking to the membership for input as to which should be the priority item.
